Nicole Minckas

Nicole Minckas, MSc, is a Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the UCL Institute for Global Health and STEMA. Her research background focuses on maternal and reproductive health, with an emphasis on prevention strategies and substandard clinical care during childbirth. She is now working on re-defining the way in which healthcare is delivered, with special attention on reproductive and women’s health. She has experience working with underserved Latin-American communities but is now expanding to East Africa and the MENA region on several research projects. She has further experience as an academic assisting in an array of courses such as Research Methods and Public Policy in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Research Methods and Evidence for Global Health at UCL (UK).
